The rooms could certainly use a serious upgrade for comfort!!! The bathrooms are small and outdated, which really detracts from the overall experience. Also, be prepared for potential check-in hassle if using a virtual card!!!

The historical charm of the hotel is captivating! My Deluxe Double Room offered a delightful garden view, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The welcome drinks were refreshing, and the gym had good equipment for my workouts. I particularly enjoyed walking through the beautiful gardens. they were well-maintained and provided a serene environment.

However, the staff could use more training on attentiveness.

Consider requesting a room away from the stairs for better privacy and quieter surroundings during your stay.

We only stayed here for one night, but I wish it could have been longer. I was especially captivated by the dinner at the Grand Thai, where the service was friendly and the food exceptionally flavorful. The breakfast buffet was a standout too, offering a delightful variety that set the perfect tone for the day. I would absolutely choose this place again next time I'm in Nuwara Eliya!

We spent two delightful nights enjoying the serene atmosphere and exceptional service. Kugan, our waiter, made our high tea unforgettable with his kindness. Don't miss the delicious treats and the best tea. it’s a perfect treat after exploring Nuwara Eliya!

The heritage design features a stunning colonial architecture that transports you in time, especially with the vintage furnishings and decor. Well-kept gardens surround the premises, offering beautiful views that provide a cozy environment for relaxation.

Check-in felt disorganized as the room wasn't ready upon arrival, causing a wait. Limited space in the breakfast room led to some uncomfortable dining conditions, with makeshift arrangements that fell short of expectations. Historical displays, while fascinating, carried captions that felt outdated and out of touch, lacking the sensitivity that modern guests appreciate. The food quality raised concerns. one guest reported serious health issues after dining, which raises questions about the kitchen's standards.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, and a lovely snack bar. I fondly remember their help with bug spray during my first stay. The warm staff made dining a delight!
